Two beavers released into a Shropshire nature reserve this year have been named, after local school children submitted ideas. Essential repair works are to be carried out on a landmark statue following safety concerns over its condition. Two permanent flood defence walls are to be installed in Ironbridge to protect vulnerable homes and businesses from the River Severn.
