Beryl and Bertie left to beaver away in Shropshire after names chosen

Two beavers released into a Shropshire nature reserve this year have been named, after local school children submitted ideas. The Eurasian beavers were released at the Old River Bed in Shrewsbury in February, reintroducing the animals to the area for the first time in 400 years. Beavers have returned to a Shropshire river for the first time in 400 years. The Severn Rivers Trust introduce a pair to the River Clun in the south of the county on Monday afternoon.
