Plans for new Bridgnorth housing development to go on show

Plans for a 1,500-home housing development are due to go on show next month.

Plans for a 1,500-home housing development are due to go on show next month.

Developer Bloor Homes said it aimed to submit outline plans for Tasley Garden Village, near Bridgnorth, in the spring.

The proposed development would also include a primary school, community facilities, sports pitches and land set aside for businesses.

The plans will be on display at two community consultation days on 12th and 13th February in Bridgnorth and Tasley respectively.

Bloor Homes said the development was “designed to meet the growth and development needs of the town over the next 15 years”.

It is working with Taylor Wimpey, which has retained control over a smaller part of the site.

The amount of homes proposed is 450 more than what was included in previous plans unveiled by Taylor Wimpey and Bloor Homes in July.

The plans can also be seen online at www.tasleygardenvillage.uk and people have until 28th February to leave their comments.
